When a Man Loves a Woman (Or Is At Least Her Equal)

Posted on Posted in Personal growth, Real life, work

In light of today’s heightened sensitivities, I am treading carefully as I broach the subject of men’s and women’s equality.  Full disclosure: I consider myself a card-carrying feminist (I must have misplaced my card somewhere)…you don’t grow up in New York City and not have those leanings.  That’s especially true within my family.  It’s not something we set out to do…it was just a way of life for us.  Still is, I am pleased and proud to say.

I can think of one reader already who is rolling his eyes.  He likes me anyway.  Thanks Eddie.

I have long joked as I question why women would want to be equal to men…I mean, why would they want to lower themselves to that level?  I actually mean that…joke notwithstanding.

I read an article last year on LinkedIn, about the differences between men and women (oh…the jokes racing through my head!) that I thought should be shared.  As the author claims: if men are from Mars, well…so are women!

Please read it and let me know what you think.  It’s 2018…I can’t believe we’re still debating this!
